It supports simultaneous recording and live viewing (also via the internet) and motion detection (detection area adjustable). It features a lapsed recording time indicator, alarm for motion detection during recording, search and play on time and subject functionality, and play, stop, fast forward, reverse and pause functions. It supports viewing of the image during play with a 2x zoom function. It has five programmable time-settings for recording and supports viewing and recording images live on a PC via a network connection or the internet. Menu settings and recording functions are password protected. It comes with a menu of 14 languages to choose from, an events logbook, USB back up slot, 8x video and 4x audio input, 1x video and audio output, VGA output to monitor, LAN network connector, external I/O connector, and a remote control.
